Phillip Guichet, MD

Dr. Phillip L. Guichet is a board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist who specializes in the advanced, minimally invasive treatment of a wide variety of diseases throughout the body. His expertise includes men's health interventions (e.g., prostatic artery embolization for enlarged prostate, gonadal vein embolization for varicocele), hemorrhoidal embolization for internal hemorrhoids, genicular artery embolization for osteoarthritis, uterine artery embolization for fibroids, complex hepatobiliary interventions, and catheter-directed therapy for venous thromboembolism. His clinical research has been featured at international scientific conferences and published in premier peer-reviewed journals.

 

Dr. Guichet was born and raised in Orange County and earned his medical degree at Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He completed an internship in general surgery at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and his residency in interventional radiology at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident and was awarded Resident Teacher of the Year. Dr. Guichet served on the faculty at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine as an Assistant Clinical Professor before joining Vascular and Interventional Associates of Orange County. Dr. Guichet's mission is to deliver to his patients world-class, evidence-based care and personalized attention.
