Eric Kuo, M.D.

Dr. Kuo completed his undergraduate training in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, followed by his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

He then continued with the Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. During his time at LAC+USC, he completed a one year research fellowship at the USC Aortic Center, where he published numerous peer-reviewed papers, a book chapter, and presented at local and national meetings, with a focus on aortic pathology, specifically aortic aneurysms and dissections.

Prior to joining VISOC, he worked as a vascular surgeon at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento, for four years, a tertiary referral center treating vascular pathology from across Northern and Central California.

Dr. Kuo is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery. He is trained in the newest and minimally invasive surgical treatments, including Fenestrated Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (FEVAR), the Thoracic Branch Endoprosthesis (TBE), and TransCarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR).

Vascular Surgery is a unique specialty in that we have the ability to tailor patient treatment with optimal medical management and both endovascular and open surgical techniques with long term follow up. My goal is to provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment in providing optimal care for each patient’s individual needs.
