Ehab Sorial, M.D.

Ehab Sorial graduated from the University of Minya, Faculty of Medicine in Egypt 1994. He completed his general surgery residency from Harbor–UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles and Western Reserve Care system in Youngstown, Ohio in 2005. He completed his fellowship training in vascular surgery at the University of Kentucky in Lexington in 2007.

Dr. Sorial is board certified in both Vascular Surgery and General Surgery.

He had previously served as an Assistant Professor then as an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky from 2007 through 2015. Then moved on to serve as a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular Surgery at Stanford University from 2015 through 2023. He was also privileged to serve at the county hospital in San Jose CA, Santa Clara Valley Medical center, from 2015 through 2023.

His research focus is on central venous occlusions in dialysis patients which can be treated percutaneously using the Surfacer device. Also, he has deep interest in wound care and limb salvage.

Open vascular and endovascular surgery; complex aortic pathology including, aorto-iliac occlusive disease, aortic aneurysms, and aortic dissections; thoracic outlet syndrome, extra-cranial cerebrovascular arterial disease; carotid angioplasty/stenting; renal and visceral ischemia; lower and upper extremity arterial occlusive disease; venous disease; hemodialysis access; wound care and limb salvage techniques.
